Finally Unstuck and Starting on the Front Porch

costumesThings haven’t moved much in the last 2 weeks.  I was stuck emotionally and physically but I’m not really sure why.  I let go of 1,180 things in September and early October which is a lot but there’s so much more to go.

As I was getting rid of things today, I wasn’t going to count.  I was just going to get rid of things but decided that I need those numbers.  So, I counted.  78 more things that I will never have to bend down to pick up again. That’s such a motivating thought!

The things that ended up in the box were at least 15 single socks, some bracelets, a headband, some gloves, a magazine and a bunch of other things.  I was a little disappointed since it didn’t seem like much but then I pulled out the Halloween costumes.  I was expecting it to be hard to go through them because of all the trick or treat memories. To my surprise, it wasn’t hard at all to let them go.  I got rid of 15 costumes!   I’m a little bit amazed with myself!

Starting on the Front Porch

My front porch is still out of control.  I wasn’t going to start it until I was done with the living room but it can’t wait any longer.  Starting small is better than not starting at all.  For today, I was going to look for one thing but then decided that in order to finish in the next 3 weeks, I better double it.  I got rid of two things.  There’s enough things out there that I could’ve kept going after the first few things but for time’s sake, I decided to stop.
