I’m hoping that the move went smoothly and you didn’t even notice. I finally had a little bit of time today so I did something that I’ve been hoping to do for a long time. I moved to the wordpress.org site. I’m also trying out a new theme. Since I’m fairly new to blogging, I’m not very good at it but I’m trying to learn because I enjoy it tremendously. It’s frustrating when you love to do something but it doesn’t come easy to you. My local library offers online courses for free and one of them is creating a WordPress site so if you see me using goofy plugins or anything like that, that’s probably why. It starts in a few weeks and I’m really looking forward to it! I hope I can learn a few new things!
The only thing that I have left to do after the move is decide whether or not I want to redirect traffic from the wordpress.com site. It costs around $15 a year and I’ve read that 2 years is usually enough time. I just don’t know if I really have enough posts to warrant doing that. If anyone has experience with that and you have any suggestions, I would really appreciate hearing them!
