Day 4 It’s a Holiday but Still Time for Decluttering

I woke up this morning very thankful for a day off.  I’m already getting behind on my July challenge and it’s only the 4th!  It was a great opportunity to get caught up.  18 things a day didn’t seem like a whole lot, until I started doing it.  So, I started cleaning out the bathroom closet.  I said I was going to do it a few weeks ago but procrastinated.  Since I haven’t been able to shove anything else in it for awhile, I knew I would find stuff to get rid of.  There’s still a lot more in there but this is it for today.

The List:

• No More Tangles (hasn’t been used in years)
• Mascara (hasn’t been used in even more years)
• Mascara (ditto)
• Black cherry shower gel
• Blue hair color (I thought we could use this to paint the horse blue at fair for the costume contest.  He could be an Avatar but that would probably be mean)
• Shower power
• Shampoo (can shampoo go bad?)
• Coconut Lime Breeze shower gel (this is brand new and will be out on the free table)
• Toothpaste (it’s only a couple years past the date stamped on it)
• Cocoa butter
• Hotel shampoo (Of course I take the ones we don’t use there.  Doesn’t everyone?)
• Aloe vesta lotion
• Deodorant (Ok, this item is of particular concern to me.  Thankfully it’s new and still has the foil wrapper over the holes because it’s liquid.  Yep, liquid.  How in the world does that even happen?  I don’t get it.)
• Body spray (this is brand new too and will also be headed for the free table.)
• Skin so soft
• Vinyl
• Hand towel
• Pillowcase

Hopefully I can find some more spots like the bathroom closet where there’s plenty of things to get rid of!  I still have a few shelves in here so I’ll head back in a few days.
