Still Fighting With the Clutter on the Front Porch

I feel like I’m fighting with my front porch all the time.  I’ve been trying to get it cleaned out for months now and haven’t gotten anywhere.  I would include a picture but it looks the same as it did back then.  Ok, not really but it feels like it.  If it weren’t for those boxes of Tupperware, I think it would actually look much better.

It’s been awhile since I posted an update and since it’s the last day of June, I thought it would be a good day for one!

Getting rid of things has been going very slowly for multiple reasons with the biggest one being the lack of time to work on it. I still keep moving from room to room without finishing one.  Distractions!

I managed to find a few minutes to get a saddle listed on eBay.  It sold on the first try so out it went!  That was a good feeling because I needed the money and it opened up a big spot on the front porch.  Double win!!  I think that some of the Tupperware is nice enough to try selling so maybe I will get to that this weekend.

Why does this clutter keep fighting back?

On a more serious note, the time crunch that I’ve been experiencing lately has really been getting to me.  It’s summertime.  I would love to be able to spend more time with my kids and working on the house.  The weather has been beautiful so we could be doing so many fun things.  

This really hit me hard after my oldest daughter’s wedding back in May.  Instead of helping her with the planning, I was decluttering. 

Time goes so fast.  Don’t let clutter hog up the precious time that you could be spending with them.  They will be all grown up before you know it.

I will be fighting with that front porch until it’s done and then on to the next area, whenever that might be!
