Too much Tupperware?  I think I made a mistake. Some friends asked if I wanted some Tupperware that they were getting rid of. I thought I was helping them out by taking their excess Tupperware off their hands but when they said they had a lot to get rid of, I didn’t think they meant that they had 10 boxes full of it!
I love Tupperware. So much that I’m even a consultant!
Not a very good one though. I haven’t had a party in over a year – but I still love it.
I figured I could take their  Tupperware and see if there was anything that I could use and then put the rest out on my free table. It seemed reasonable that I probably want a few things but I didn’t think it would be so hard to give up the rest.
Well, unfortunately, I have found a bunch of things that I would like to keep.  There’s a lot of small microwavable containers that are great for taking lunches to work and a bunch of little Freezermates. They always come in handy!
Keeping the Vintage Tupperware
Vintage Tupperware is fun to come across and there’s a few pieces in the boxes. Â The beautiful autumn colored canister set is one thing that comes to mind. Can you picture it? Â Goldenrod yellow, burnt orange, and avocado green. Â I don’t plan to keep the set but I’m thinking a few things like that might go on eBay before I put them on the free table. Â If they don’t sell, I’ll give them away.
The friends that I got all this from have some hoarding tendencies too. So, I was happy to help get it out of the their house.  I just hope this plan doesn’t backfire on me and I’m able to get rid of most of it!
I’m starting to have quite a few people ask me to take stuff to put on the free table but I have to make sure that I don’t keep it all! Tupperware is an exception though just because I use it so much for taking lunches to work.  Nothing else can stay.
Do you love Tupperware? Â Do you have too much of it?
