It was a very productive yet unproductive day. I woke up and it was time to leave for work. Weird. I usually have time to sit and watch the news a little bit but my second alarm was blaring at me before I even finished ironing my clothes. A half hour later I was at work and before I knew it, I was heading out the door to the dentist. Six hours flew by like 10 minutes. The 45 minutes I spent at the dentist having a tooth pulled seemed like 15 minutes. The day was flying by.
After resting for awhile at home, I decided it was time to get a few things done. I went to the post office and the convenience store and that was enough. While I was out, most of the numbing agents starting wearing off and I hadn’t taken any pain killers yet. Big mistake. I was in a lot of pain after that and decided to do nothing else the rest of the night.
Then it started to storm. It looked terrible on the radar but didn’t seem too bad. After the sirens started going off, we collected all the animals and took them to the basement with us. It was more of a practice than anything because it didn’t get bad at all. Not sure what the sirens were about. It’s actually thundering and lightening more now than it was then.

LOL! I really wanted to get a few things done and this dentist does an exceptional job making sure everything is numb for hours 🙂
it is hard for me to visualize how these storms are… we have snow storms here but never felt the need to take shelter at the basement. I think though one time we have had very strong winds and it made a lot of damages to houses around. i hope you guys made it out without any damage!
The neighbor’s tree lost a big branch but other than that, my neighborhood is okay.
Glad that you make it safely through the storms. I like a good thunderstorm with moderate rain, I just don’t like when they get destructive. Some days go by so fast, you have to check the calendar midway, just to see if your still in the same moment.
Some days can really drag at work so I like the fast days. However, I don’t like wishing my days away either so if they go a little slower sometimes, that’s okay too.
