It was another wonderful day of My Cat From Hell shows all day. I’ve learned so much about cat behavior which is great because I have five cats now. We had no intention of keeping the last one but he was injured and needed a home.
Watching the show today however was a little different. They showed a lot of rescues. They’re all doing such a great job with colonies of cats. Some of them are holding huge adoption events. It made me think back to when I was younger and that’s all I wanted to do but then life happened.
On one of the episodes today, they showcased a group who took cats to be rehabilitated by prisoners so they could be adopted out. The prisoners in the program taking care of the cats (and dogs) were all very calm and talked about how much the cats had helped them too. It looked like a beautiful program.
I’ve been working with one colony of cats and I’ve gotten lots of cats homes but have been unsuccessful getting the property owners to let me take them to get fixed. So, I know I’ve done a little bit to help but what these rescue people are doing is amazing. And they’re so happy.

I saw the show once I think, some long time back. It was quite interesting.
We once had 5 cats. It seemed that every one that came to us as a stray, wound up being adopted by us. I love cats.
I love them too. They make life interesting!
