Are You Getting Anything Done on Day Six?

I hope you got more done on day five than I did! And hopefully day six goes even better for everyone!

To be honest, I wasn’t able to do anything yesterday. I brought those two buckets in like I said I was going to and that was it for the day. I ended up spending 14 hours working with no hourly breaks.

Work takes priority so it was disappointing to say the least.

Since today is finally a bright sunny day, I am actually amazed at how much I did during the week. I don’t know why I hadn’t realized it but it’s really looking much better. Maybe even good enough for a pic or two later today!

This afternoon, I should be able to go through a big pile of boxes out there. It’s mostly things to sell on eBay but I’d like to thin it out a little bit. Sometimes it takes a long time to sell stuff so it has to be stored until then. When something is only listed for $3.99, it’s not really worth keeping it around for months. If you have limited space, it’s worth more than $3.99.

Finding something the same size that will eventually sell for $29.99 or more is a much better use of that space.

Tomorrow is supposed to be much colder here so I’ll try to get a few of those boxes pulled into the house. I can go through them inside then. So far, I’ve moved things around but haven’t gotten rid of much today. Since I’m wanting to sell more than get rid of things, it’s probably better if I wait until tomorrow anyways.

We’re almost done with our week of decluttering 27 things a day! I hope it’s helped you get through an area or areas that you’ve been stuck on.

What are you doing on Day Six?

  • I’ve never sold anything I’ve decluttered. I just wanted to be done with it. I agree that the space would need to have a return worth it.
