No idea how we did it but the path to the furnace is now at least 2′ across all the way to the furnace. When we started, you could only walk down the path sideways. Things were stacked up as tall as we are and you practically had to go sideways. It was like going through a tunnel.
Before Pic of the Pathway
On the left-hand side, right at the bottom of the stairs, things were piled up in the most awkward way. If I tried to grab anything from the top, it would cause an avalanche. When I grabbed things from the bottom, there were more avalanches. All of this had to go outside so I could work it down slowly. It was about 20 trips up and down the stairs. That was just with stuff from that 2′ space there.
Once that area was done, I walked down the aisle slowly removing anything that was in the way. During the week, she worked on thinning the clothes out a little bit. I really mean a little bit. I told her at least 3 things per day so she picked out about 12 things which didn’t make much of a dent. But that’s progress and I was happy she was able to do that much.
Again, the after pics aren’t that spectacular since I had to keep bringing things back down that she decided she wanted to keep. Plus, I took the pic from the wrong end so it’s hard to tell if it’s much different.
The initial pathway does seem wider. You are such a dehoarding saint!
