Cleaning Out the Old Horse Trailer

We finally had some beautiful weather the other day and I was able to clean my horse trailer out.  It had to get done because I bought a different one and I need to sell the old one as soon as possible.  My truck isn’t big enough to haul a horse trailer and it’s on it’s last legs.  Once I sell the trailer, I’ll be able to buy a different truck.  We managed to fill up 3 big bags of things to sell at the Midwest Horse Fair next week.

It doesn’t really look like that much stuff, does it?  It’s hard to see it all in the picture though. You’ll see it much better when it’s out on the driveway!

Cleaning it out!

There was a lot more in there than you thought, right?  I loved that trailer because of all the space it had in the tack room but unfortunately it just wasn’t big enough for my horse.  I’m glad that we found a lot to get rid of.  Still not sure how it all fit.

Here’s the emptied out horse trailer!

See, it has tons of space for a lot of stuff.  You just need to have small horses that fit in the horse area.  Just kidding.  They don’t really have to be small.  My horse has an usually long neck so that’s why it’s too small for him.  The new trailer only has about half the amount of space that this one does so we had to get rid of some of the stuff.  We also put some of it in the tack stall at the barn but that needs to be cleaned out too.

The tack stall at the barn and my front porch are the other two places where I keep too much horse stuff.  I’ll have to get through those two places before the horse fair.  I don’t have much time left!
