I’m excited! Progress has been so slow the last few months that I had to do something. My house was looking more and more like it belonged on an episode of Hoarders. So I decided to take on a massive challenge – 18 things a day. It sure doesn’t sound like a lot but it’s adding up quickly. I thought it would take a couple of weeks before I would see a difference but I already do! Yay!
The List for Day 5:
- Pack of cookies – huge waste of money because they were buried so no one knew I bought them
- 2 Boxes of Sweethearts
- Junk mail
- Pile of scraps from punch out letters
- Old iron
- Blouse
- Fork
- Card holder
- 2 Make up bags
- Pillowcase
- Rag
- Inhaler
- Gauze
- Piece of vinyl
- 2 Blockbuster movies
Almost all of this stuff will go right into the garbage. Not much here for the free table. Even though I’m really excited that I can see a difference already, I have to admit, it’s getting harder already too. It took me a long time to pick out these 18 things. I’m glad I’m not restricting myself to any particular room or area. It’s nice to mix it up every day or take one thing from here or there. I did a lot of wandering around.
Just curious – what was the expiration on those cookies? Aren’t they edible forever???
Hmmm… I don’t know about forever but maybe you’re right lol. The expiration was April 24th I think. But the package doesn’t really seal airtight.
cookies looks great – my mouth is watering 🙂 well done with the decluttering – you are an inspiration – I will start decluttering my wardrobe soon. I have been meaning to do this for some time, but alas, day after day I found other stuff to do …. nevertheless, after seeing your success i feel so motivated to do it. thanks for the inspiration! 🙂
Woo hoo!! Im sad about the cookies! Success- no socks!!
I was sad too when I found them! That’s a lot of cookies!
