Today, I put the caulking around the bathtub. That’s it. I’m stuck.
The new debate is around the toilet and since there was no agreement on what to do with it, it’s not done. I want to replace it and no one else does.
Yesterday, I brought the vanity in and like I thought, it was way too big for that tiny little bathroom. I was about to agree to put it in so it was done but then I decided that it was one regret that I didn’t want to live with. So, we packed it back up into the ginormous box and took it back to the store. Once I got my money refunded, we went to the other big store and got the one I wanted in the first place but they didn’t have then. I’m so glad I did that. This one fits so much better. It also came with a matching sink. 100% better all around.
Now to figure out this toilet situation. Everything else is new so why put this old toilet back in? I mean, I do know that sometimes newer isn’t better when it comes to these kinds of things so I’m a little hesitant but the rest of the room looks so nice. What if keeping the old one ruins the look? I think I would still need to get a new seat since the one on it now is off white and I definitely need a white one now.
Guess I’ll decide tomorrow.
I was able to get the new toilet when we redid our bathroom when John was moving it after doing the floor and dropped it. It shattered and I got the one I wanted. Here’s to a broken toilet!
Hahaha!!! I wish I would’ve thought of that!!!
That’s how it gets gone, one step at the time.
I know.. but sometimes I would like 5 steps done at once. 🙂
