It’s only taken me months to do it but I have finally made a dent on my awful front porch. It would be great if I could proudly say that I got rid of so much that what’s left on the porch is all that’s left. But it’s not. I have a few buckets of stuff in my living room still. Some of it is to get rid of but I haven’t had a chance to go through them yet. When I open my front door now, it makes me smile. It’s so nice. Thoughts of what I can do to decorate are already popping into my head.
I can’t remember everything that I got rid of but I’m going to add some to my count:
- 10 DVDs
- Big tiger rug (this is an awesome rug but we had it in the horse trailer and it smells like horse now)
- Pair of boots
- 3-D puzzle
- 15 pieces of mail
- 2 Rags
- Shoe Lace
- Clothespin
- Pair of shoes
- End Table
- Empty Box
- Face stuff for the horse
Total front porch decluttering count for today: 36
I’m pretty sure there were quite a few more things but I can’t remember what they were. I wasn’t really worried about counting as I was getting rid of stuff. I was just tossing away as fast as I could. After I filled up the garbage can, I thought, oh yea, I should’ve been counting.
Grand decluttering total: 2,276
Love, love, love the decluttering counting. It makes your work so measurable.
Yes! I never would have thought that counting would make such a difference but it has. I have cleaned up all these things who knows how many times and now I’ll never have to pick them up again… that’s such a great feeling!
Awesome! You are definitely on your way to 4034 for the year. I remember when I thought I would never hit 2015 in 2015. Over 10,000 items later we were beginning 2016.
Wow!! That’s A LOT!!!
And you didn’t empty out the can, and count???? We were counting on you to count! lol
A pair of shoes!! Woo hoo! And no single sox!! Woo hoo again!
Darn it… I was going to add that to the end of the post! No singles out there! Lol!
lol! Great minds think alike!
It all starts with the first step. Keep on stepping and you will feel great!
I like your count. You have inspired me. 😀
