After a very long night, I think we actually saw some small improvements today. I contemplated ER during the night but decided to try to make it to 8 a.m. and then go to urgent care. However, by 8 a.m., she was sleeping so I left her sleep. The good news is that her heart rate is down to a more normal rate. It was 140 on Thursday and right now it’s only 76. Much better. Her fever is still breaking through the ibuprofen and Tylenol but at least it’s only around 99-100 and not 102-103. She actually made her way to the kitchen by herself for the first time in days. She still isn’t eating or drinking much but she had some pudding today so at least it’s something. The worst thing today has been mouth sores. Her whole mouth is full of sores. What in the world is that? We’ve decided that’s where all the infection is. I can’t wait until we can see the doctor tomorrow.

Glad to hear she’s feeling a little better.
Yesterday was a rough day but today is going a little better. Day 8 of the fever but it’s not getting too high (knock on wood!)
Poor baby! That’s crazy that the fever is lasting this long. I assume it’s viral and not much can be done.
That’s what they keep saying. They gave her an antiviral on Tuesday and she’s slowly been getting better since then. I just wish this fever would go away!
🙁 Hope she is better soon!!
Thanks! We’re on day 8 of having a fever but I think it’s coming down finally.
Wow!! Her body is fighting hard!
