Everyday, you can find a show that’s playing all day long. Today, it was My Cat From Hell with Jackson Galaxy. I’ve had it on since 5 a.m. It’s one of my favorites.
I got to meet Jackson Galaxy a few years ago. As I was watching one particular, very emotional episode years ago, I was thinking that I would love to be in the same room with him, even for 5 minutes, just to stand in that greatness. The way he helped the person on that show touched my soul.
My next thought was that there was no way that I would ever meet him because he lives on the west coast and I have no intention of ever going to the west coast. So I thought that was a really silly thing to even think about.
And then, there it was, he was coming to Wisconsin. What?!? Of course I went! After the very funny show, there’s a little meet and greet and that’s when I got to meet him and take pics and autographs and all that. I got to stand in greatness and he’s as nice in person as I thought he was going to be.
He came back the next year and of course I went to that show too. And this year, he was supposed to be here May 6th but unfortunately, that’s been rescheduled for October because of covid-19. It’s okay though. October is better than not at all and yes, of course, I will be there.
