This week’s free table really has been a flop. Things have been taken but not as many as I was hoping for. I’ll leave it set up for a few more hours but I think I’ll be taking a trip to Goodwill this time.
Some of the things that are gone are:
- The candle holders
- Colored Pencils
- The gray Aeropostale sweatshirt
- All of the jewelry
- Lunch bag
- Little toy horses
I put an unabridged dictionary out there hoping that someone would take it but I don’t think it’s going anywhere. It’s huge. It’s almost 6″ thick and takes up a lot of room. I’m sure that the person who bought it for one of my kids spent a lot of money on it and meant well but that thing takes up a ton of room and I’d be happy to get rid of it!
The other thing that I can’t seem to get rid of is that pair of Lucky Brand jeans. I can’t figure out why I can’t even give them away. They are a size 2 so maybe it’s like the clearance rack at the store where everything is either size 0 or size 2 – there’s just not that many skinny people around here.
I live on a pretty busy road. I think that’s good that there’s a lot of people driving by but it’s also a little hard to stop and I’m sure that some people feel funny stopping too. They might even be a little suspicious about why there’s just a bunch of stuff on the side of the road with a free sign.
I’ll post a picture at the end of the day so you can see what was all taken. I hope a few more things find homes today. I think I’m going to try something different next week.
