Due to my allergies and the amount of stuff in the attic room, this mission is still evolving. I’m afraid it’s going to take longer than planned but it will be better than I was hoping for. That’s an okay trade off!
Three days ago, I didn’t think there was much else I was willing to take out of there but the more I sat there looking around, the more I saw.
Did I mention the small area behind the small room? It’s filled with my oldest son’s stuff. There’s not a ton of it but instead of being in boxes or bins, he just set things up there. No organization whatsoever. I started looking through some of it and found some things to get rid of. I always check with him first before just tossing his stuff but he’s pretty good about letting things go. Once I pare it all down, I’m going to get everything into storage bins so it’s not just sitting there all over collecting dust. I wasn’t really planning on working in this little area.
But that’s ok…I did it! I met my goal!
- 9 pieces of clothing (8 shirts and a pair of pants)
- 2 fitted sheets
- 1 flat sheet
- Empty music stand box
- 3 folders
- 5 notebooks
- 1 binder
- A pile of papers
- 1 sock
Oops! That’s 24 which puts me one over my goal. I’ll take it! It’s better than not having enough.
My total for 2019 is 301!
