The Bathroom Isn’t Done Yet

I know that I said that the bathroom would be my #1 priority on my days off but it didn’t happen. As I’ve mentioned before, this lack of time situation is out of control. Am I trying to do too much or just the wrong things?

With the pandemic going on, I thought it would get better but that just wasn’t the case. I’m still working and even though I’m working at home, I’m still really tired at the end of the day. I’ve been working almost 10 hours a day for the past 2 years. I took on more responsibilities but was never able to pass anything off. I need to work on getting my work time down closer to 8 hours a day but that seems a long ways off.

Another thing that’s been taking up a lot of my time is my love for eBay. I didn’t really realize how much time I was spending on this either. Something the other day made me slam on the brakes though and I took a huge step – I hired a virtual assistant to help me with the listings. So far, so good. She finished the first batch last night and everything looks great! For the items that don’t sell for as much money, I’m hiring a college student to help with the tasks that take me a long time – pictures and weights. Hopefully she’ll be starting this week.

I’m going to be pouring a lot of effort into these two things for now. The bathroom is still on the list of “must finish soon” items but there’s going to be a little delay. I still need to use up some PTO so I might be taking a lot of Thursday/Fridays off. Hopefully I’ll get caught up soon!
