It’s cold and dark in the mornings now so I’m glad I was able to easily find three things on the front porch this morning. Thank goodness for junk mail! There’s a lot of it!
This needs to be another great day with lots of things going. It might even be a good day to do a Goodwill run to get it out of the house. I like watching the pile grow so I can see the progress but it’s even more therapeutic to get it out.
I feel like I’m back at the beginning of my journey with so many things everywhere. Even knowing that I can do this again doesn’t seem to be making it much easier this time around. Where does it keep coming from?
Why do I keep trying so hard on this front porch?
My efforts seem like overkill for this small 6′ x 6′ space. But this area is the entrance to the house. It’s supposed to be welcoming and inviting but instead it looks like a barricade.
Lately, every time I watch a home show on TV, they talk about how the entrance to the house should be the nicest area. When I go to other people’s houses, I try to pay attention to how welcoming their entrance way is. Mine’s not even close!
The stuff was piling up so high you couldn’t even see out the windows anymore. They’re mostly clear now but there’s a few spots with stuff in front of them yet.
