I was thinking my Free Day was a flop but when I went outside to pick up what was left, I found that over half of it was gone! Yay! I’m so glad because I would have felt a little embarrassed if no one wanted it, even for free.
I’m pretty sure that I will try this again very soon. Maybe next week I will set up an actual table instead of leaving it on the ground on boards. I think it was a really hard to see because the cars go by pretty quickly. I’m really happy that a few things found homes. Unfortunately, the Lucky Brand jeans were still there.
I thought that maybe someone, another hoarder perhaps, would take all of it just because it was free but that’s not what happened at all. It looks like people only took what they needed which is really cool! I don’t think it was a flop at all and I’ll try it again! I have plenty more things that I can put out there.
so well done 🙂 I should try this myself; maybe some of my neighbours would benefit.
I was feeling a little silly at first but I’m glad I did it! It was a great way to get rid of some nice stuff and I really like the idea of giving things to people in my own neighborhood.
I love the idea – you really inspired me. you must feel both lighter (now that you have git rid of stuff from home) and very proud and satisfied (now that you know you have helped others in you neighborhood with your generosity and good heart). so well done 🙂
I highly recommend it!
