Happy Holidays!!!

So excited for a new year! Happy Holidays!! I hope you all got some rest and relaxation during the holidays. I sure did and I’m ready to get back at it in 2019.

First of all, I need to tell you about Trevor. He’s a barn cat that got hurt about a month ago. I spent a fortune that I didn’t have to get him some vet care. I was hoping that I could then find him a home. Well I must be the worst rescuer in the world because I can’t find this cat a home. He’s Tank’s brother from a different mother and has the same awesome personality. He also looks identical. I would love to keep him but I already have too many cats. I even took him to see Santa hoping that the sweet pic would help find him a home but no luck! If I don’t find him a home soon, he’ll have to go back to the barn.

Trevor was telling Santa that all he wants for Christmas is a loving home!

The next “thing” I’m excited to tell you about isn’t a thing at all! It was the best Christmas present I ever got for someone and there’s nothing material about. My daughter has always been a huge fan of Dan James. He’s a horse trainer from Australia. He’s a great horseman and a great entertainer. A few days before Christmas, I got an email from the horse fair office that they were doing a special event this year – Breakfast with Dan James during the fair. I immediately bought us tickets!! When my daughter opened her crazily wrapped ticket, she started happy crying! Then everyone started crying because it was such an emotional moment. It was awesome!!

Work has been extra stressful lately. I need to relax, do the best I can, and try to ignore the distractions around me. Since that’s my new mindset, I’ve been able to get back to working on the house a little bit because I still have a little mental energy left when I get home. In fact, I spent a half hour up in my attic room today and got rid of 70 things!! In a half hour!! There were even some practical things that went in the garage, like a pen. I have so many that tossing one isn’t the end of the world. That’s a great feeling. And never having to deal with these 70 things is even better!!
