Will the Bathroom Ever Get Finished?

The bathroom is moving along very slowly. Progress is being made though! Yay! A week of having to go upstairs to use that bathroom and I’m ready for the downstairs one to be done. Too much exercise for me! Just kidding!

Yesterday was floor leveling day. I was afraid it wasn’t going to dry fast enough to put the floor in today but it’s good and ready! The floor pieces are being cut and in a few hours, it should be done. The thought of having the floor done and getting the toilet back in is very motivating! That might be it for today but those are the two most important things right now.

I don’t feel like I’m being much help but I still need to learn how to use the saw. There’s not much I can do besides watch. In a little bit, I’m going to go work on cleaning up the toilet so it’s ready to go in.

The pics will be coming soon but I thought you might like a little peek. It does have a tinge of blue but again, the blue is escaping my vision. Maybe you’ll be able to see it better when it’s in the room with the other invisible blue.

I’ll be adding more blues to the mix so it’s going to be a big pot of blue bathroom by the time it’s finished. Last night, I ordered some blue and gray towels so I’m hoping that helps bring it out a little more. Since the vanity is white-ish, that might help too. Maybe it just needs some contrast. Unfortunately, I don’t think the ugly sink is going to help much.

It’ll probably take the rest of the week to finish this room. I need to make another trip to the home improvement store or at least submit another online order that I can pick up in the next day or two. I’d like to get the molding in before the sink goes in. It would just be easier since the room is so tiny.
