After setting my five year plan into motion, and accomplishing most of the goals that I set for myself, it was time for some decision making. What should I do next?
It would take a lot more money than I had to buy a house to flip. Since houses aren’t cheap in the area that I live in, I was also keeping my eye out for a house where I could keep my horse.
Whichever one came up first would be the one that I would go for. I love looking at houses so this part wasn’t really a chore.
As like in most areas, real estate has gone crazy around here. Finding any place was going to be hard and we certainly weren’t ready to sell our house.
Wee had just renovated the two bathrooms but there were still a ton of things that needed to get done. We had lived in the house for 23 years and a lot had been neglected over the years. Sometimes it was because of money and sometimes it was just the general lack of time to get things done.
There were a lot of decisions that had to be made and it was hard! The twins had never lived anywhere else and well, we loved our house! Great location, great neighbors, and low payments.
But it was time for a change and we all knew it.
Every room in the house was full, including the basement and the garage. Pretty much every inch of every room, except the bathrooms. We had rearranged and reorganized a million times. You can only move a bathroom towel so many times.
Moving was starting to come out ahead in the decision making debacle but I was still thinking about a flip.
And then something came up. Something that got us all pretty excited!
