It’s Been An Exhausting Week

It’s Saturday and this was one exhausting week!

I took off Monday through Wednesday because my son and his family were here. It was rough going back to work Thursday but it was nice. The break from the craziness was nice.

That probably sounds terrible but making plans and moving that group around has been difficult to say the least. The kids are little and their favorite thing to do is whine non-stop.

My oldest daughter’s family is also difficult to get moving. Not as much whining in their house but there’s still a lot going on.

A few other things happened during this exhausting week while all of this was going on.

We had one of the kittens neutered and 171 bales of hay were delivered. My daughter and I started a class that goes for the next three weeks. I picked 10 quarts of strawberries.

There was a 4-H horse show today that I volunteered at. My kids have all aged out so I don’t need to go but I don’t mind. It was a very small show and was done by 2:00 pm. Bonus! Usually I’m there closer to 5:00.

I thought that I was going to have all day tomorrow to work in the garden but it doesn’t look like that’ll be happening now.

There’s just so much to do and so little time!

Every week is busier than the last one

This next week is going to be another crazy one but mostly because of work. It’s the end of the month which means a lot of extra work.

Of course I’ll be working on the garden as much as possible. The weeds have overtaken the whole garden so weed control will be first. Zucchini is coming up and the cucumbers are doing great. The peppers are growing great too!
