Did you get anything done this weekend besides moving things around from room to room? It feels like I didn’t!
It’s like that saying about doing the same thing over and over but expecting different results. Putting it in a different room doesn’t really make a difference in the big scheme of things.
Most likely, there’s still too many things in the house if you’re doing that.
The one big caveat to that is that if it belongs in a different room and it has a home there, then moving it to the other room is appropriate. It’s the moving buckets of random things around that’s a problem.
Last week was a rough work week for me so I didn’t get much done in the storage room and I didn’t have time to take any of it the donation center. We climbed and tripped over things all week.
It was awful.
I finally had a chance to sit down on Saturday to bag the things up and go through it to pull out the things that are worth the time to put on eBay. My threshhold was lowered to $10 or more but there’s a reason why.
After a run through of my budget the other day, I checked my credit report and found out that I owe a lot more than I thought I did. So, of course, I kept more things to sell than I would have a few weeks ago.
That threshhold amount might have to get re-evaluated pretty quickly because the goal is still to get rid of things.
Shelving Units Coming Soon to the Storage Room!
I am super excited to tell you about the storage bins and shelving units for the storage room. Something very unexpected happened last weekend.
Shortly after ordering the storage bins and 
It took me all of about 2 seconds to reply “YES!” and I cancelled the order that I had just placed and then jumped in my truck and picked them up.
They’re not the exact measurements of what I ordered but there’s two and maybe they’ll be even better! I haven’t had a chance to set anything up yet but once I do, I’ll be sure to post some pics! I’m super excited for you to see them set up in there!
